When I first visited Kenya, I did not know I would fall in love with the beautiful and wonderful people there. I had gone to share more about my passion for helping people, building community and promoting creativity, driven by the mission and vision of my non-profit, The Trueness Project.
It was my golden chance, as well, to donate copies of my two leadership books, Gloriousness and The Power of Leadership With M Teresa Lawrence.
What started as a chance to showcase my passion to the world and to mentor about 12,600 young learners in various schools in Kenya, is getting deeper. You see, yesterday, in Kenya, the Open Christian University, in collaboration with Angaza Bible and Training Institute honored me for my commitment and passion for community building and for the impact The Trueness Project has had not only in Kenya but globally, my community development, justice and advocacy commitment notwithstanding. The idea is to reach as many people as possible, train them in leadership and help the less privileged lead better lives by donating to them what matters.
I suppose this is why you should join me in changing more communities and touching more lives, and create a butterfly effect wherever we go! Isn’t it interesting? That’s the essence of The Grand Butterfly Gathering coming up on June 29, 2024. The countdown is already on. Just check the comments section and see the link to participate.
